Match LFPC12-260 before installation
This entry is the Fusion Lithium Core LFPC12-260, a 12.8 V, 260 Ah, 3328 Wh LiFePO4 battery with an integrated balancing/protection BMS and Bluetooth. The exact-model manufacturer specification, PDF page 1 is available. A matching full operating manual was not located in the public resource center; the specification itself refers to a separate Fusion user's manual. Obtain that document with the physical battery before installation.
Use continuous ratings for the load budget
The specification allows 200 A continuous discharge and 600 A for five seconds. It gives 130 A recommended charging and 200 A maximum charging. Crimp retains 130 A as the charging planning value and 200 A discharge. Its 400 A terminal allowance does not establish a 400 A continuous battery rating.
Design normal shutdown around the recommended 10 V disconnect, rather than repeatedly reaching the BMS's 8 V protective cutoff. The listed recovery voltage is 9.2 V. A cutoff can remove the whole battery from a bank, changing the current borne by the remaining batteries.
Set charging within the thermal range
The charge specification is CC-CV at 14.4–14.8 V, with 13.8 V recommended float. Charge only at 0–45°C; discharge is listed at −20–60°C. The separate BMS low-temperature cutoff is −10°C, with recovery at 0°C. That protective threshold does not extend the permitted charging range below freezing. No heater is established by this document.
Check terminals, mounting and protection
The case measures 522 × 240 × 224 mm and weighs 28.1 kg. It uses M8 terminals; the drawing specifies an M8 × 1.0 threaded hole, 8 mm deep. That is hole geometry, not a universal bolt length. Check lug thickness and supplied hardware before selecting bolts. No terminal torque, installation orientation or external fuse prescription appears in the retrieved sheet. The installer needs those instructions rather than inferring them from another Fusion model. See dimensions, PDF page 2.
Confirm the complete bank arrangement
The sheet lists maxima of four batteries in series and 20 in parallel. It does not establish every combined series-parallel layout or mixed-model bank. Confirm the proposed topology and protection with the matching installation manual. Bluetooth uses the identification code on top of the battery; the Fusion Lithium app can display temperature, current and protection events, but monitoring does not replace circuit protection.
