Cable sizing for this example
Use the diagram as a starting point for your installation. Replace the example equipment and cable lengths with your own, and check the connections against your exact model's instructions.
Cable sizes depend on the connected equipment, current and cable lengths. Add those details in Crimp to size each run.

Identify the Mini Core generation
The catalog photo shows the Mini Core 200 Ah, whose manual identifies RBT12200LFP-M. The former catalog model RBT200LFP12S-G1 did not match that photo. The component ID remains unchanged; verify the label on an existing battery before treating these specifications as its ratings. The regional family document prints Version A0, March 31, 2026, despite A2 in its download filename.
Set charging and load limits
For this 12.8 V, 200 Ah battery, the specification table, printed pages 54–55, gives 14.4 V charging, 100 A maximum continuous charge and 200 A maximum continuous discharge. Its 380 A for ten seconds peak allowance is time-limited and must not be used to size a sustained load. The catalog now uses the documented 200 A continuous discharge, correcting its former 100 A entry.
Use a LiFePO4-compatible charging profile, with lead-acid equalization/desulfation disabled. The internal BMS provides protective shutdown; normal load control and cable fusing must keep the system within its operating ratings. Crimp's terminal-current allowance is a planning envelope, not independently documented stud ampacity.
Install the terminal connections
The model uses M8 × 1.25 terminal bolts, tightened to 8 Nm. Place the lug directly against the terminal, with washers above the lug. Select the supplied bolt length to suit the lug stack without bottoming out. Cover exposed terminals, support the cables, and add positive-side protection and a disconnect appropriate to the actual system. See installation instructions, English section.
Secure the battery in a clean, dry, ventilated location. The specified charging range is 0–55°C and discharge range −20–65°C. This Mini Core specification does not establish a self-heating function; below-freezing charging must wait until the battery is within range.
Balance batteries before bank connection
The exact family table permits up to four in series and eight in parallel for the 100/200 Ah models. Use matching batteries and verify the particular unit's revision before building a large bank. Fully charge batteries individually, bring voltages within 0.1 V, then follow the manual's parallel balancing procedure before final assembly. Use balanced cable paths and suitable branch protection.
Series connection increases bank voltage without increasing amp-hours; parallel connection increases capacity and available current. Check the whole bank against charger, inverter, fuse and cable limits rather than multiplying a single battery rating without considering current sharing. The manufacturer's bank connection diagrams are part of commissioning, not an optional substitute for polarity checks.
